Sponsored by North London Collegiate School Jeju
North London Collegiate School Jeju is a boarding school for girls and boys aged 4 to 18.
Situated on the UNESCO World Heritage island of Jeju, our proud history began in North London 170 years ago when our founder, Frances Mary Buss opened NLCS in the UK.
We have a reputation for providing an outstanding education, consistently delivering some of the best academic results in the UK. NLCS Jeju follows the NLCS model in its ethos and standards with a few small local differences. In addition to the outstanding facilities we offer on campus, Jeju is home to a stimulating array of leisure activities.
NLCS Jeju takes advantage of its rich, natural and cultural environment and students are encouraged to explore the fascinating island during school trips and co-curricular activities. We are very proud that each week a programme of more than 150 activities offers a wide variety of opportunities for all our students. We are a selective school and have an academically challenging timetable.
We believe that a happy student is a successful student and a balance to school life is always found. We achieve this by supporting our students with individual academic guidance, first-class pastoral care, an emotional counselling team and a university counselling team. Our students go on to be very successful young adults – studying at elite universities and following their dreams. They have no ceilings only floors! Start Here, Go Anywhere!

Ms. Louise SymondsAs Link Teacher for the Debating Society 'Inpodium' and the weekly Debating Co-Curricular Activity sessions, I am very excited to welcome you to the JFNODC. Debating offers so many benefits - as you know, it builds confidence, collaborative skills, critical thinking, public speaking skills and of course the opportunity to engage with issues from an alternative viewpoint. These are all key skills in our ever-globalising world. I wish you well in the JFNODC and hope to welcome you again to our future debating events. Enjoy!
